you walk down to the beach with your coffee and newspaper
you stare out to the ocean like you were on a movie screen
your two kids were playing in the sand
when the youngest one starts to cry
you pick him up and you say to him that this is life please give it another chance
does that sickness eat through you
does it eat away at your bones
your the strongest person that I know
nothing could ever get to you
but you're too smart to be fooled by that
you're too smart we all know
please hold my hand I need to hear you say
that this is life my son please give it another chance
I don't know if I can because I feel so low
so this is life please give it another chance
A perfect punk album. What always amazes me is that it's littered with melodies and lyrics good enough on their own to build an entire song around, but Captain We're Sinking has so many great ideas, they don't need to stretch any single one beyond its welcome. This will have you coming back over and over again. John Martin
